Admission and Park Information Updates

We are now open for our 2022 76th Anniversary Season!”

Please read the important new updated info below!  (UPDATED February 28, 2022)

Funderland is now open for our 2022 Season!

UPDATED GENERAL PARK ADMISSION INFORMATION:

IMPORTANT: YOU NO LONGER NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS TO VISIT FUNDERLAND, THEREFORE OUR ONLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE NO LONGER NEEDED. WE GUARANTEE YOU CAN NOW SIMPLY PURCHASE YOUR ADMISSIONS AND ENTER IMMEDIATELY WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT OUR MAIN GATE EVERY DAY WE’RE OPEN!

NEW! FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE IF YOU PREFER TO PURCHASE ADMISSIONS IN ADVANCE, OR FOR GIFT PURCHASES, WE HAVE JUST OPENED OUR NEW ONLINE STORE, WHERE YOU CAN EASILY PURCHASE OUR SINGLE-DAY UNLIMITED-RIDE PAY-ONE-PRICE ( POP ) ADMISSIONS AND 2022 SEASON PASSES AT THE SAME PRICE CHARGED AT OUR MAIN GATE, WITH NO ADDITIONAL FEES OR TAXES: SEE OUR HOMEPAGE AND CLICK ON THE RED “SHOP NOW” BUTTON TO BE LINKED TO OUR NEW STORE!

Remember, PARKING IS ALWAYS FREE!

The State of California, as part of its revision and updating of their Covid-19 requirements, allowed our park and rides to return to normal capacity as of June 15, 2021, therefore the online reservation system was no longer needed, and the fact we have been allowed to return to normal ride capacity also means shorter lines for the rides, and more rides for you per day!

OUR MASKING POLICY: Please note we are following the Honor System mask-wearing policy now in place for potentially crowded outdoor venues where close contact is unavoidable (because our ride operators must check your ride safety restraints, for example):  We ask all unvaccinated people aged two and over to wear masks at all times except when seated, stationary, AND eating or drinking.  Fully vaccinated people are not required to wear masks, however we welcome and appreciate those who continue to wear their masks for the safety of themselves and others.  We are committed to the safety of you, your family, your fellow guests, and our employees.  Thank you for your help and kindness!

  • What happened to your tickets?
    • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we had to change the way we did business.  When we were allowed to reopen in June 2020 we were required to switch to a gated-admission pricing structure so we could monitor the park’s required reduced capacity set for us at that time.  Over the past almost two years the majority of our guests, by far, made it clear to us they prefer the new gated admission and unlimited-rides “Pay-One-Price” (POP) admission pricing for its ease-of-use, improved park perimeter safety, faster ride queues, and value, so we are continuing the POP admissions for all ages now that we have been allowed to return to normal capacity! Everyone, of all ages, pays one low price at the Main Gate that gives them both entry to Funderland AND unlimited rides for the entire day of their visit! ( Note: Infants and Children under 34 inches tall are Free at all times, and Parking is always Free ). All but one of our rides is rideable by both children and adults ( subject to the specific safety guidelines posted at each ride ), so children can share the riding adventures with their adults! ( One ride, our Oscar the Fisher ride, is only for guests under 42 inches tall ).
  • Are the old individual paper ride tickets still accepted?
    • The old paper individual ride tickets formerly sold at Funderland prior to the pandemic’s beginning in March of 2020 ( no individual ride tickets were sold after March of 2020 ) were accepted as full-face-value credits toward the new POP admissions for both the 2020 season (from our reopening in late June 2020 through November 2020) and 2021 season (from February 2021 through November 2021), which we announced frequently during both seasons through all of our public announcement and inquiry informational options (such as here at our website, through social media on Facebook and Instagram, and through our Main Gate Ticket Sellers and inquiries to our Office). As previously announced, then, the old ride tickets expired at the close of our 2021 season, on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
  • Does everyone have to pay to get into the park?
    • Yes. Everyone 34 inches tall and above must purchase an unlimited-ride admission to enter ( Children under 34 inches tall are Free, but they may still be able to ride some of our rides if they have head and body control, meaning they can sit upright in a seat without being held up by someone else ). The new Pay-One-Price ( POP ) Admission prices, for all ages, include both entry into Funderland AND unlimited rides for the entire day of your visit. As previously noted, all but one of our rides and attractions are rideable by both children and adults, subject to the specific safety guidelines posted at each ride and attraction. ( Note: Parking is always Free ).
  • Do babies need to pay to enter the park?
    • Infants and Children under 34 inches tall are always Free.
  • What rides can a two-year-old ride?
    • A two-year-old is able to ride up to seven of our current nine rides and attractions at Funderland. They can ride our Red Baron Planes, Classic Carousel, Backroads Buggies, Crazy TeaCups, Oscar the Fisher, and Funderland Express Train. They can ride our Flying Dragon Roller Coaster with an adult if they are at least 36 inches tall. ( Note that rides and attractions are subject to change, and will be updated in this informational page ).

Visitor Comments

I’m impressed by how Funderland caters to families … The great thing is the simplicity. The park size is easily manageable for parents with young kids … Our family is pumped that we finally discovered Funderland Amusement Park and can’t wait to go again.
